On Saturday, October 14 the City of Plano will host the 2nd annual Public Safety PULLooza!  Police, Fire-Rescue and 9-1-1, along with other City departments, invite you to enjoy a day of FREE fun while learning how to keep your family safe. For a closer look, watch this video.

The 2nd annual Plano Public Safety PULLooza will showcase many 

exciting interactive events and booths:

  • Kid’s Fire Obstacle Course
  • Police Motorcycle Rodeo
  • Bomb Robot Demo
  • Helicopter Landing
  • Fire Safety Tips
  • Hands-only CPR and AED Training
  • Water Safety and Drowning Prevention

  • Crime Prevention
  • Property and Personal Safety Tips
  • Kid’s Fingerprinting
  • Tour a Fire-Rescue engine and ambulance
  • Tour a Plano Police cruiser, SWAT truck, Sky Watch tower and the “Chose Your Ride” car
  • Fire-Rescue Clowns “Patches” and “Snozzle” and face painting

The Health & Safety Fair will have booths manned by:

  • Medical City Plano
  • Baylor Plano
  • Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano
  • The Turning Point (Rape Crisis Center of Collin County)
  • American Red Cross
  • DART
  • Carter Blood Care
  • AAA Roadside Texas

Several FOOD TRUCKS will be available for purchasing meals!

2017 Plano Public Safety PULLooza fire truck pull supports Special Olympics Texas! Teams of 12 people face off pulling a 72,000 pound fire truck for a distance of 75 feet in a timed event. Each team captain will receive a packet with their team’s participation information.  The Public Safety Fair is FREE.  Only teams pay a registration fee.

Test your strength and compete for prizes and bragging rights…all for a great cause. This is a great team-building activity for businesses, schools, civic organizations, gyms, neighbors or just friends.
