FIT for Health: Families in Training – 


Presented in partnership with the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. Bring your family and celebrate a healthier life today for a better tomorrow! This 11-week program includes fun physical activities, information about healthy habits, calorie goals, self-monitoring, and positive parenting styles, along with some healthy snacks and refreshments. Those who complete the series receive a free three month membership to the YMCA! Registration required. Registration opens two weeks prior to session. A Plano Library Card is required to register

Bring your favorite train lover to see the Narrow Gauge model train exhibit provided by Spring Creek Model Railroad Club. The Spring Creek Model Railroad Club was formed in 1986 and has evolved into one of DFW’s largest and most unique HO and HOn3 layouts. Club members are responsible for the creation, design, maintenance, and improvement of the club’s layouts. They model many eras from the 1880s to the present, and operate steam, diesel, freight and passenger equipment.
