National Night Out Pop-Up Party Trailer Raffle
The City’s BEST Neighborhoods Division is answering one of the most frequent requests we receive from neighborhoods. This year, we held a raffle for neighborhoods to win the chance to receive the Pop-Up Party Trailer on National Night Out. If neighborhoods attended select neighborhood events hosted by the BEST Neighborhoods Division, each neighborhood was entered into the drawing.

National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual event hosted by the National Association of Town Watch and occurs the first Tuesday in October this year. The City of Plano and the Plano Police Department participates in National Night Out and is proud of the commitment our community has to this program.

Opens a New Window. Pop-Up Party Trailer
The City of Plano has a trailer available specifically for neighborhood-wide block parties. Reserving the trailer Opens a New Window. is free for all neighborhoods that are registered with the City's BEST Neighborhoods Division as one of the following: Homeowners Association, Neighborhood Association, Crime Watch Group. Please refer to the calendar below to see availability and reservations. City staff will drop off the trailer on Friday afternoon at an approved location and will pick up the trailer Monday morning. Residents will not be permitted to move the trailer at any time. An adult over the age of 18 will need to be present when the trailer is dropped off Friday afternoon. An adult does not need to be present when the trailer is picked up Monday morning. The trailer is not available for reservation during the week (Tuesday through Thursday). Neighborhoods may reserve the trailer one time per calendar year and make reservations up to 9 months in advance in 2019.
Street Closures Petitions for residential street closure need to be received at least fourteen (14) days before the proposed event. Petitions must be signed by 75% of the residential properties that are adjacent to the proposed street closure. Per Ordinance No.2003-4-16 Block parties must be held between the hours of 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM Per Ordinance No. 68-8-1 it is unlawful for any person to consume any alcoholic beverage on any public street, alley, or any public place adjacent to any street or alley in the city.
